This is the house on 40-07 Pellington Drive, in December of 1953. The clothing, the old cars in the background in the view from the front door, the eye glasses (!!!) and the big brass doorknobs are a sign of the times.
This is the front of the house:
This is the left side by the kitchen:
The view from the front door of the house (note the car, gotta get me one o' them):
Here is the view inside from the front door, with a very cute baby who lived here, who is now 53:

Coming into the front door, looking toward the back of the house to the hall, you can see into the kitchen. This lovely lady died in September of 2003, at the age of 89:
Here is part of the kitchen, at the sink by the window:
This is the way to leave the back bedroom (note the "flocked" wallpaper on the wall on the left and the oversized brass doorknob):
This is a summertime view out of the back of the house. This is the same adorable toddler from earlier, who is now 53, and is a personal fitness trainer in the Los Angeles area. You can see from this photo that she started young:
This
is the back of the house, by the steps to the porch. The porch was constructed
of doors. The door directly above the steps opened. The wall seen to the left
of the porch is the back bedroom. This may have been taken there:

The porch was accessed from a door on the side and not the back. Here is the back of the house:
And this is around the corner a bit more to the right, with the neighbor's house seen beyond the white picket fence:

Here is what it looked like from inside the porch:

Going back around to the left, here is the roof area from that back bedroom wall:
